Halal Bihalal is a term that has long been used by Indonesian people when they meet again after Eid al-Fitr is over. Starting from the beginning of Indonesian independence, this activity aims to enable each other to forgive past mistakes and further strengthen brotherhood.

Quba Islamic School did the same thing when they returned to school after a long holiday after Eid. Not only students, but also all teachers, and school staff also participated in this event. This event took place on the Quba Islamic School field and was attended by the entire school community, including teachers, staff, and students who gathered together to celebrate this event before returning to activities in the school environment as usual.

The entire school community is very happy to be able to return to activities, and meet friends after a long holiday with family. This joy is in accordance with the meaning of happiness for the grace that Allah has given, namely a holiday after a month of fasting. This kind of spirit of friendship will continue to be preserved by Quba Islamic School as a form of strong brotherhood. Forgiving each other so that school activities can run well with a comfortable feeling without the burden of revenge.

The Halal Bihalal tradition itself has been carried out since the beginning of the independence era, even during the tenure of President Soekarno, Halal Bihalal was held at the Presidential Palace. This positive activity which eventually became a culture carried out throughout Indonesia must also be carried out by all levels of society as a form of self-awareness that is full of sins and mistakes towards others, and hopes for forgiveness and the desire to always be able to maintain friendship. Even though it seems trivial, halal bihalal itself is a good tradition to do.

As a Muslim, towards each other certainly have mistakes, whether intentional or not. Therefore at least once a year there should be an event to meet and forgive each other for the mistakes made. This also aims to strengthen the relationship between one another, which is an obligation in Islam to continue to maintain.

Quba Islamic School itself still applies boundaries in the implementation of this halal bihalal. Between male students and female teachers must still maintain not to touch, as well as between female students and male teachers. Limitations like this must still be enforced as a form of obedience to Allah SWT, but also still maintain the essence of the halal bihalal event itself.

Quba Islamic School as one of the Islamic Schools with the best International Curriculum in Bekasi City also needs to continue implementing this tradition so that the school does not become a scary place for students, but also becomes a new family, where students can grow into people with noble morals and intelligence for the future of the Indonesian Nation.

The Halal Bihalal event took place orderly and comfortably for all parties. The entire school community went home as usual after the event, but teaching and learning activities were still not running effectively on the day the Halal Bihalal was held.

Quba Islamic School wants every school community to be able to enjoy the moment together first before the next day, teaching and learning activities as usual are started again with full enthusiasm to gain knowledge from Allah SWT.
